Sgt. Sean Reeves plays "Taps" on a government-issue CD
at a military funeral last month in Landover Md. With downsizing
of the military, there are fewer and fewer bands and fewer buglers.
So the Defense Department has called in the reserves.
Funeral "kits", including a CD version of "Taps",
have been shipped to funeral directors and military bases.
A Pentagon spokeswoman said there have been no complaints.
"The feedback we have gotten is that folks are pretty
happy with it." she said.
