1) Our Lady of Snows School Reunion: Sunday, October ??, 2005

For the past few years since 2002, OLS has had a school reunion
on a Sunday in October. It usually starts with a mass around 1:00 PM,
and continues on into the White Room, until about 5:00 PM.
I checked with the parish office and the date has not yet been put on the calendar.

If you're not on the mailing list you can go to the OLS parish web site:
< www.olsnows.org > for updates, or call (718)347-6070 to be put on the mailing list.

If anyone thinks the above date (To Be Announced) would be a good occasion
for a Stormy Knights reunion, email me back at < olsstormyknights@yahoo.com >,
and I'll keep every one posted, through the Stormy Knights web site.

2) New Photos Supplied by Steve Beiner, Gary Cabrera
and Joe Gentile

Lots of new photos from Steve (supplied by his his Mom Mrs. Beiner),
Gary Cabrera and a great quartet photo from Joe Gentile. Which reminds
me that there have got to be hundreds of great quartet/individual photos that are
gathering dust in your closets. Dig them out and send them to me or scan them
yourself.

E-mail me at < olsstormyknights@yahoo.com > for my snail-mail address
or for help on scanning your photo.

You can check out all the photos at:

3) Video Supplied by the Schlecht-Glover families

Way back in 2000, Eileen Schlecht-Glover sent me family and drum corp
videos on VHS. They are from late 60's standstill, and early 70's M&M.
I digitized them at that time, but since I only had dial-up until just this past
January, it was nearly impossible for me to up-load them and for most
other people with dial-up to download them. The videos are now posted.

If you have dial-up, you can download the shorter 30 second clips.
They may take about 20 minutes to download each. The longer clips
are very large ( more than 40 GB each). I wouldn't try and download them
unless you have a broadband (cable or DSL) connection.

You can find the videos at the following link:

4) A Guest Book entry you gotta see to believe!

Old feelings (and rivalries) die hard. I never would have
believed the entry from "Blue Lancer" unless I actually saw it.
He(she?) takes issue with some of Joe Gentiles standstill
recollections. Since I came in at the end of standstill, I have
very vague memories of that time. Some of you I'm sure will
remember better than me.

Take a look at the following links for what Joe Gentile had written,
and "Blue Lancers" comments. If anyone cares to comment further,
please add it to the Guest Book.

5)E-Mail Addresses and Mailing Lists

I am very concerned with protecting everyone's privacy. It is very easy
for "web crawlers" to scan web sites and pull out data that seems harmless
at first. In the insecure environment we live in today, personal data should
never be posted on line.

That said, I will not keep an e-mail page on the web site. (There were
problems in the past.) It is also very hard to maintain. It is time consuming
to add new entries and make changes to old ones.

However, you can add your own e-mail to the "SmartGroup" I created
so people can choose to post themselves. I invite all of you to join the
"StormyKnights" group at <
www.smartgroups.com >.

Click on the link below to take you to the main Stormy Knights
group page. You will first need to register as a SmartGroups user,
than you'll be able to join the Stormy Knights group.

This web site offers many capabilities which I won't get
into right now (photo album, database, advertising...).
It's a bit confusing at first, but once you get used to it,
maybe we can take advantage of its other features.
