I know it's only
been a few days since the last newsletter,
but this is breaking news, and I've got to let you know about it.

1) Our Lady of Snows
School Reunion: May 20, 2001
Amazingly, just two
days after I sent out the last newsletter, I got
a letter in the mail from the Our Lady of Snows School regarding
a reunion. This is for all graduates of Our Lady of Snows (OLS)
School.
This will take
place on Sunday May 20th, 2001. Father Stack is
inviting attendees to come to the 1:00 PM mass if available.
Then on to the White Room at 2:00 PM for food and reminiscing.
The reunion will last from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
This is not a full fledged re-union as far as I can tell. It's more
of planning meeting to gather ideas and plan future events.
This is an ideal place for Stormy Knights alumni to get together
as well, for the same purpose. If you plan to come, you can use
Stormy Knights Guest Book to let others know so we won't miss
each other. Please bring any photo's or other memorabilia that
you would like to share.
I am including some contact information provided in the letter
for people to respond to, so they can join the OLS School alumni.
I have also included a tear off of
sorts for you to mail back.
I don't know if or how this page will print out, but you can try
and use it to fill out the information they requested and send it in.
If you graduated from the O.L.S.
School, I would urge you to join
their alumni association. The Stormy Knights alumni will be sure to
have a commanding presence as we always have in the past.

2) St. Claire's Standstill show: April 29, 2001
St. Claire's (in Rosedale) will be
sponsoring the Suffolk-Nassau
championship show on April 29.
The show starts at 2:00 PM till
about 6:30 PM. Mainstand is on first,
then individuals, duets, quartets. For those of you who forgot, that
means that the main corps competes first. If you get there late, all
you'll see are individuals, duet's and quartets.
If Stormy Knights alumni are interested in meeting up with one
another, we should try to plan a little. We have a four hour window
to play with. I plan to go, but can't say for sure what time I'll be there.
Alumni can respond in the Stormy Knights Guest Book if they are
going, and what time they'll be there. Then we have half a chance
of seeing each other.
Directions from Southern State:
Southern State parkway to Cross Island Parkway
toward Kennedy Airport. Get off at Merrick Road,
make a left across parkway, make a right on
Brookville Blvd., up to 137th Avenue to the school.
